If we don’t think bespoke eCommerce is the right solution for your business - or if we’re not the right partner - we’ll tell you upfront and point you towards better-suited options. We’d rather give good advice than take on the wrong project.

For many businesses, off-the-shelf platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce are absolutely the right choice - and we’ll often recommend potential customers go down that route if it is right for them. Bespoke eCommerce comes into its own when things get more complex: unusual products, custom pricing rules, non-standard fulfilment, deep integrations, or workflows that don’t quite fit the “sell widgets online” model. If your business needs something more involved, a bespoke build can open up options that simply aren’t possible with pre-packaged systems, and provide a flexible foundation for the years ahead.

Absolutely. Our default approach is to build systems that put you in control. With a bespoke eCommerce setup, we’ll work with you to design an admin interface that fits how you actually work - not force you to adapt to someone else’s idea of how your business should run.

We can work with all the major payment gateways and have hands-on experience with PayPal, Opayo/Sage Pay and many others. If we’re choosing - Stripe is usually our go-to thanks to its reliability, flexibility and reasonable transaction fees - but we’ll always recommend what makes most sense for your project.

Yes. We regularly integrate bespoke websites with third-party systems such as CRMs, stock management, accounting software and external services. Our technology stack is designed to support integrations via APIs, webhooks and other appropriate methods. If an integration is possible - and sensible - we’ll make it work. If it isn’t, we’ll explain why and suggest alternatives.
