Challenge

Beverley Housing Charity, formerly known as Beverley Consolidated Charity, approached Umber Creative with a clear objective: to refresh their brand identity to better reflect their ongoing commitment to support vulnerable individuals within their community. While their services continued to evolve and expand, their brand had remained static and no longer aligned with the charity’s revived mission.

Recognising that the charity’s core audience includes individuals in later life, we prioritised clean, well-structured, and user-friendly designs for the website. This ensured that essential information was easily accessible, and that users could navigate the site effortlessly.

In addition to the website, we extended the new identity across vehicle graphics and through-out their new office designs, further reinforcing the brand at every touchpoint and creating an inspiring space for staff and visiting service users.

Approach

When developing the brand identity, our goal was to create a logo that communicated both warmth and transformation. To achieve this, we merged a love heart with the letter 'B' (for Beverley) and elongated the form to resemble a butterfly; a symbol of new beginnings. This versatile logomark became a powerful visual asset for marketing materials.

Outcome

The new suite of marketing materials has revitalised Beverley Housing Charity’s presence, both online and within their community. The website now serves as a more effective tool for engagement, while the vehicle graphics and internal office designs have amplified the charity’s visibility, promoting and reinforcing their message throughout Beverley.
