Challenge

We were recommended to FeTu by one of their trusted suppliers and we were quickly able to understand their challenge. FeTu were looking to launch the new phase of their innovative Heat to Power (h2p) technology. Their previous marketing had been focused around communicating the technical advantages of their product but they needed help in formulating a website which could speak to a broader audience - and deliver a simple, reassuring and eye-catching message without confusing customers who don’t have a background in engineering.

Approach

At Umber Creative, we take pride in our approach of taking time to ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of what our customers' challenges are, and making sure what we propose will help solve those problems. In the case of FeTu, we needed to ask lots of questions to make sure we understood the basics of how their pioneering technology worked so that we could convincingly explain the business case for their customers.

We knew that we needed an eye-catching strapline, a website with ‘Wow’ factor and some real technical expertise to implement an interactive calculator to demonstrate the potential financial savings that FeTu’s clients could benefit from. 

Outcome

The journey the website takes customers on explains the complex offering step by step. The website answers customers' questions in turn utilising tools from a bold video introduction, to animated infographics, slidable calculators and interactive illustrated flow diagrams.

The final website delivers on our initial goals and more, it was a real team effort - utilising the specialist skills of all of the Umber Creative team. The feedback received from the client has been really positive and we’re very proud of the final product.

FeTu - Heat to Power

Not our first time at the rodeo, so we approached the daunting task of creating a new annex website with trepidation. In preparation we had written a short, clear brief and circulated for tender to six discreet parties, it soon became apparent that only Umber took time to read and process our simple narrative and need. The onboarding turned out to be as easy as the selection process, with touch point meetings and little additional input from our side throughout the process. Then, as if by magic, a few weeks later, the perfect incarnation of our needs appeared before our very eyes, meeting and surpassing our every expectation. Having been fortunate to find Umber through a professional referral, we will now never venture elsewhere. Luke and the team were professional and attentive throughout, an absolute pleasure to deal with and we now look forward to the next time.
