Working through Covid-19 - Can we help?
As with all companies in the UK and around the globe, Umber Creative are making changes to their way of working in light of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. We wanted to take some time to tell you about these changes and to also let you know what we’re trying to do to help our customers and the wider community.
In these challenging times the health and wellbeing of our team, our clients and their families are of our highest priority. All of our staff have been given access to the facilities and equipment to work from home or, if they prefer, to use seperate spaces within our offices.
Umber Creative uses (and often creates) online systems and as such our team is well equipped and committed to support our clients whatever their needs are in the coming weeks and months. So don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via the normal methods.
We’ve been working closely with suppliers to minimise any disruption, and have put in place a number of contingency plans to ensure that continues.
As the situation changes we will look to respond accordingly. Unfortunately there is no rulebook at the moment, and all of us as businesses and individuals are figuring things out as we go. If we all help each other out where we can, we’ll pull through this stronger together.
With this in mind, we’d like to tell you about how we’re using our skills to help our customers and the wider community.
- We have decided to offer all of our web customers some of our time to put a pop-up message on their website for free. Whether this is used to let your customers know that it’s business as usual or to advise about temporary phone numbers or home working - it is good to let your customers know what is happening. If you’d like to take us up on this offer please get in touch using the contact details below.
- We’re also very pleased to have been contacted by HEY Smile Foundation (in association with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and NHS Teaching ) to help pull together an on-line platform as a positive response to the current Covid-19 situation - it offers a platform for communities and organisations to work together, share resources and offers of support in these difficult times. As you can imagine, getting this up and running quickly has been crucial and our team has been working late hours to get the site up and running. If you feel the platform may be helpful to you or you can offer help to others please take a look on the link below: https://coronavirus.beecan.org
We look forward to seeing you face to face soon, in the meantime and most importantly stay safe and well and if you need us, don’t hesitate to call us on the number below.
